Meet the Team Behind Wedding Venue Lighting

At Wedding Venue Lighting, we’re a small, reliable team who love what we do – transforming venues across Yorkshire with lighting, dance floors, and finishing touches that make a big difference.

We’re not a big agency. You won’t get passed around departments or wait days for a reply. You’ll deal directly with Matt the owner, or one of our trusted team members. We’re hands-on, straight-talking, and here to get things done properly.

Matt – Owner

I started the business to offer a service that’s professional, reliable, and easy to work with. I’ve been in the events industry for years and understand what venues and planners need – no hassle, just results. You’ll usually find me on-site doing setups, behind the wheel of the van, or replying to emails after a long day out on the road.

Kelly – Sales & Marketing

Kelly looks after sales and marketing here at Wedding Venue Lighting – and she’s been a key part of the team.

She started out in the promotional industry, bringing with her a strong background in branding, client relationships, and getting the right message in front of the right people. Since joining us, Kelly’s played a big role in helping the business grow – from building connections with venues and planners, to keeping our marketing sharp and focused.

Always full of ideas and energy, Kelly’s the one making sure our name stays front of mind – whether it’s online, in your inbox, or at wedding fairs and industry events. She’s great at understanding what clients need and making sure we deliver it with the personal touch we’re known for.

Friendly, organised, and always up for a challenge – Kelly helps keep everything moving behind the scenes.

The Crew

We’ve got a solid, experienced team who help with installations, collections, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Everyone’s trained, polite, and takes pride in doing a job properly – whether it’s laying a starlit dance floor or hanging of fairy lights.

We work evenings, weekends, and all hours in between to get venues ready on time – safely, efficiently, and without disrupting your schedule.

The Girls – Photo Booth Operators & Wedding Fair Sales

You’ll often meet The Girls at wedding fairs or see them in action running our magic mirror photo booths at events across Yorkshire. They’re a friendly, hard-working part of the team who help everything run smoothly on the day – keeping guests happy, props in place, and the booth buzzing.

At wedding fairs, they’re brilliant at chatting to couples, showcasing what we do, and answering all the questions – from how the photo booth works to what lighting looks best at a venue.

Professional, approachable, and always smiling – The Girls bring energy and warmth to every event. Whether they’re helping couples strike the perfect pose or giving you the lowdown on our services at a fair, they make a great first impression (and a lasting one too).
