100% recommend! We used Wedding Venue Lighting for our wedding to hire the 3ft white Mr & Mrs letters. It was great for us as the company was local to where we live and our venue however, from contacting the company to having the letters installed was seamless. Contact with the team was easy and they were polite and friendly. The company worked directly with my venue so I didn’t have to worry about any of that. Hire of the product was for the day so we definitely got our monies worth! The letters looked great through the day in our venue room and they looked brilliant at night lit up. Very prompt delivery and installation service and was happy to work around other suppliers also dressing the venue. On time the next day to take down the lighting. My daughter found this compnay whilst looking for a dancefloor for our wedding venue with no dancefloor! The price was good adn the dancefloor was good quality. They were brilliant at arranging with the venue time for fitting and dismantling, without us having to be there. I also booked at very short notice, and they were able to sort everythng out. A few days before the wedding we added a light curtain too and this just topped it off - it was stunning. Highly recommend this company - support small businesses when you can - they go the extra mile.

Amazing, super helpful, would recommend The products we hired from wedding venue lighting were perfect, they transformed the room and so many people commented on how lovely all the little details were. Kelly and Matt were both super helpful with all the organising and even moved the starlight backdrop between the day and evening do so we could have it behind the top table for the day and by the dance floor on the evening.

Didn't have to worry about a thing! Didn't have to worry about a thing!! Had an amazing g photo booth, back drop, and audio book! Definitely recommend. We got a photo guest book with the photo booth which was a really nice touch! We had so many prints!! All the photos taken and the audio book were posted to us on a personalised USB stick and was recieved a week after the wedding. Brilliant company.

We used wedding venue lighting for our lights at our wedding, at sandburn hall. We had fairy lights all round the wooden beams and up the stairs, and wooden light up letters spelling mr&mrs bennnett. The venue looked beautiful with these lights, very happy. Easy to book and great communication from the company. Recommend to anyone wanting lighting decorations (and they do much more than just lights!)

We had the fairy light curtain to go in our barn theme wedding. It looked beautiful during the day and especially at night. It lit up the dancefloor and I am so glad we hired it. Matt and the team at venue lighting did an amazing job in helping to make our wedding day amazing. They were easy to deal with and helpful with their advise and it made the whole process really easy. We were delighted with the lighting and the twilight backdrop and it truly made the room look amazing. They also provided our aisle runner at a very reduced price. The total cost was very reasonable and overall we were very happy with the end result!!!!

Oakwell Hall 4/6/22 We used Matt & the team for our wedding in June we had the fairy lights and fairy light backdrop it changed the whole look of the venue to the next level and added that extra wow factor. Hired a black & white dancefloor with colour changing LED cube seats and a disco system, including lights. The service recieved was excellent, the equipment was delivered, set up and collected without problems. It all looked great. We recently hired a dance floor (white, no lights) for the reception of our barn wedding and it was excellent. The dance floor looked great and I was really impressed with the size options available when booking. I also found the price to be very competitive in comparison to a few others I had priced up. First phonecall resulted in ensuring Matt knew exactly what we needed and it was all very easy. Emails exchanged to confirm order, easy payment options including bank transfer. dance floor , up lights and mirror photo booth We ordered a photo mirror booth , purple up lighting and a black starlit dance floor from wedding venue lighting for the evening reception of our wedding. we had already met in person a rep of their company at a wedding fayre and had a hands on demo of the photo booth. communication with them after we had ordered the items was on time and gave us plenty of options to choose from when it came to the design of the photo cards. On the day of the wedding they were very punctual, and as we had our wedding ceremony in the same room as the reception they could not instal any of there kit until we had actually got married and went out for our drinks reception after. we came back about 2 hrs later and bang its was all in, Dance floor down and lite up, purple uplights all installed and on and the photo booth in place but not yet on as it was for the evening event. On the actual evening the room looked fantastic as the room lights were down the dance floor and the purple up lights really stood out and looked fantastic. The photo booth was well used and you get an album for your guest to put there pics in and write you a message so you get a great album as a keep sake and we also got the images on a usb stick as well as an online gallery to share with everyone on facebook. All in all a great experience with wedding venue lighting and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting this kind of thing for any special occasion.

My daughter found this compnay whilst looking for a dancefloor for our wedding venue with no dancefloor! The price was good adn the dancefloor was good quality. They were brilliant at arranging with the venue time for fitting and dismantling, without us having to be there. I also booked at very short notice, and they were able to sort everythng out. A few days before the wedding we added a light curtain too and this just topped it off - it was stunning. Highly recommend this company - support small businesses when you can - they go the extra mile.

The lights looked absolutely beautiful - in particular, we had so many comments from guests about the fairy lights on the beams. The team were completely invisible on the day, with the lights just appearing - which is exactly what we were looking for! We used WVL for our wedding day at Denton Hall in Ilkley, Yorkshire in September 2016. We hired a Photo Booth and two large … We hired a Photo Booth and two large initial lights for our wedding at waterton park hotel in August and communication was perfect from placing the order to details on the photos for the Photo Booth. The Photo Booth and initials were set up and in place in plenty of time before the wedding. Our guests enjoyed using the Photo Booth (especially my grandaughter she made good use of the booth ) a lovely Me & Mrs album was given to us on the same evening with copies of the photos people had taken. Matt and his team were very professional from start to finish, from the first phone call, e-mail, meeting us to discuss our requirements, even adjusted things to our taste to actually suggest us to delete a few products which saved us some pennies for our honeymoon. Not a lot of businesses want to do that! Our room was absolutely stunning, all our guests were amazed on how good our room looked even the Banqueting team at the hotel were speechless as were our toastmaster (he had seen the room before!) which was funny to witness! It was stunning, things were changed after our wedding breakfast and this was done discreetly and professionally, cannot thank the team enough, they did a marvellous job and I have the memories and photos to prove what an excellent day we both had :-) Winners, thanks guys!!

Dance flooring Really good experience. Floor and lighting were set up as arranged and we even got a slightly bigger floor than we had ordered as there was enough space at the venue. Again, floor and lighting were dismantled and collected as arranged. Would definitely recommend.

I can't praise this company enough! We were very last minute and only contacted them 5 weeks before the big day. Matt went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed (despite the lead time). I contacted them 2 days before for a Selfie Mirror and, again, they were brilliant! The best part of the lighting was the dance floor. We were given the choice of black or white and we chose black which made the floor stand out more. The string lighting outside was perfect, although with it being a winter wedding, not many people went outside, only the smokers, and there weren't many!

Our wedding venue, Sandburn Hall, is a stunning building. Wedding Venue Lighting provided the most beautiful decorations to enhance every feature of the room. The fairy lights were positioned to give a delicate sparkle during the day & then an unexpectedly magical effect in the evening. Where to start! I cannot recommend wedding venue lighting enough for creating such amazing decor and for our photobooth! The C&G lights became an amazing backdrop for pictures after a day of rain, and the fairy lights created the most beautiful and cosy space! The photobooth was busy all night and we have so many amazing pictures that the guests loved. We also love looking through the guestbook that the team on the night took care of making sure we had copies of all our guests photos, aswell as an online album of gifs and snaps! If there are any future brides and grooms out there looking for those beautiful touches, don’t hesitate in booking, you won’t regret it!

Wedding Venue Lighting set up a fairy light wall curtain behind the top table of our wedding at Crayke Manor in the covered stables. It looked superb and we received lots of compliments from many of our guests. Throughout the process the company were very easy to correspond with via email and phone. They were very understanding and flexible with our multiple covid date changes. The technician set up the day before and was very prompt, thorough and quick giving a clear explanation of how to work the curtain. He returned the day after to remove it and was equally professional. The whole experience was very easy, highly recommend

The photo booth was a huge hit and guests loved the props and how easy it was to use, and the fact they could take prints away. Copies were added to a guest book which was a lovely extra for us to keep for memories. We found Wedding Venue Lighting company incredibly helpful and professional in the run up to our wedding. The team answered our questions and adjusted our order quickly, the package we put together was really good value. We hired a dance floor, up lights, light up tables and giant letters. So helpful, accomodating & great products My daughter found this compnay whilst looking for a dancefloor for our wedding venue with no dancefloor! The price was good adn the dancefloor was good quality. They were brilliant at arranging with the venue time for fitting and dismantling, without us having to be there. I also booked at very short notice, and they were able to sort everythng out. A few days before the wedding we added a light curtain too and this just topped it off - it was stunning. Highly recommend this company - support small businesses when you can - they go the extra mile.

Beautiful wedding venue lighting We rented large "LOVE" letters for our wedding reception. The communication was clear and polite, and at the right level to keep us informed but not overwhelm. The letters were a big hit on our wedding day, and really suited our venue and woodland theme. The price was reasonable. Perfect Quick and easy communication. Website shows my wedding venue with all various lighting and decoration options that the company can create with honest pricing shown. We got married at Sandburn Hall in York and chose to have the fairy lights around the beams, a curtain of fairy lights at the back, a secure post box with key, and festoon lighting for the balcony outside. All was set up well before the time for our guests arriving at 11.00am. They are a recommended supplier of Sandburn Hall, and the room wouldn’t have been complete without their detailing.

We got married at Sandburn Hall and Wedding Venue lighting supplied the fairy lights for the main stairway, around the wooden beams along with the coloured lanterns in the Grand Hall were we got married and had our reception and the outside balcony and it all looked absolutely amazing 😁 Thank you so much to the team for adding these finishing touches to our wedding it felt and looked so special 😊

Wedding Venue Lighting did a superb job of supplying lighting for our wedding. Our venue was a total blank canvas and the lighting absolutely transformed the venue. They set up, as requested, two days before our wedding at no extra cost and had it all taken down and cleared away very promptly the next day. A first class service at a very reasonable price

Nothing was never a problem! I changed my mind a coupe of times and also asked them for their advise too. They knew my venue better than me so they could help me see my vision come to life. Yorkshire venue lighting supplied my fairy lights and lanterns hanging from the beams at sandburnhall hall. It looked truly magical. They were quick at replying throughout th booking. They were prompt deliverinf and installing at 7am rhe morning of the wedding and then collected again later. Was fab and stress free!

These guys did exactly what we asked and even provided more lights than we had paid for as they had them available and thought it would be nice for us. Delivered exactly on time and installed them with the minimum amount of fuss and then came at 3am to remove them from the venue for a different wedding the next day! Fantastic service all round.

our wedding we used Venue Lighting for our wedding in August 2023 we hired the photo booth it came early with two young friendly ladies who made our guests feel very welcome and helped to get the best picture possible each person Received their picture to keep and we also had the same copy for our wedding Album Which we love thank you so much for Making our big day even more soecial would Definitely recommend this company. so much so my daughter has booked a photo frame for my grandaughters birthday party looking forward to seeing those pics too!! 😄👍

We used wedding venue lighting for our recent wedding at bagden hall where they provided the fairy lit ceiling drapes. We had so many compliments on how well they finished off the room. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting something that little bit extra that doesn’t break the bank. We had no stress with them setting up etc as it was all done with the wedding venue without us even noticing!

We used this company for our wedding lighting to put fairy lights around the room and it really made all the difference! They were so accommodating and came bright and early as requested the day before the wedding, yet only charged for a single days use- which is amazing when some companies up the prices for weddings. They also let us attach some greenery to the white pole covers which was really good of them too! Thankyou for making our venue looks so good!

Matt and his team are the most professional company I have dealt with while organising my wedding. His suggestions and advice were spot on! The dance floor and backdrop plus the up lighters in my venue made the room look beyond amazing, every guest said it was the best wedding they have been to and the dance floor was full all night. Matt even came to collect it at 2 am in the morning so the venue could be ready for 8am the next day to start setting up for lunch.

After attending a few wedding fairs we came across Wedding Venue Lighting. After a brief discussion and demo we contacted Kelly and Matt for a quote. They were brilliant, very quick to respond, always helpful and had plenty of options and solutions for whatever it is you'd like to do. On the day they arrived early and got setup straight away. Our guests loved the Photo Booth and the telephone box guestbook was very popular. We got the messages a couple of days later and it was so nice to listen to the lovely (and some very drunk) messages people had left for us.
I would highly recommend Matt and Kelly to anyone looking to plan their wedding.

Hired a black & white dancefloor with colour changing LED cube seats and a disco system, including lights. The service recieved was excellent, the equipment was delivered, set up and collected without problems. It all looked great. Would definietly us them again in the future and recommend everyone else does to!
